When someone on Metafilter asked about how to learn a language online, some really great resources showed up.

Radio Lingua - French, Spanish, Italian, Polish and German podcast lessons.

Japanesepod101 - podcasts to learn elementary Japanese.

Mango Languages - Many languages taught through podcasts.

Open Culture Foreign Language Lessons - All levels of many different languages. Many podcasts to choose from, from different sources.

Learn Something New Everyday

Lifehacker is one of my favorite learning blogs. I think you'll probably agree once you read a few of his posts.

Wikipedia is one of my favorite places to learn stuff. Reading Wikipedia is like calling 411 for information. Not always exactly what you were looking for, but usually spot on and extremely helpful.

Well, put the two together and you have a great suggestion to use the Wikipedia random post as your home page. What an idea. I think I'll set that up right now.
